AI journaling: what the AI does with your day, and what it builds

An AI journal is a journal app whose AI responds to what you write or say. Every serious one does some mix of three jobs: it asks (follow-up questions and prompts, so you're never staring at a blank page), it analyzes (summaries, mood over time, themes and patterns), and it remembers (carrying what you said last month into what it says today).

Take one messy entry: "Got through a brutal meeting without snapping, cooked instead of ordering takeout, helped my daughter with homework even though I was exhausted." Asking looks like "What helped you stay calm in that meeting?" Analyzing looks like: three entries this week mention work stress. Longer-lived things you chose to keep across entries, such as an adopted goal or saved memory, may remain until they are separately removed or you delete all Evolve data. Delete All Data in Settings removes your account and account-owned Evolve app data, including unfinished drafts stored locally.
